Sub Urban police arrest three accused, recover gold ornaments, cash, and silver articles

Hubballi: The Sub Urban police have solved five theft cases by arresting three accused. The accused had stolen valuables by breaking into a house, two temples, and two bars in Yallapura and Ankola.

The police were able to seize 10 grams of gold worth Rs 53,500, 60 grams of silver articles, and Rs 42,000 in cash from them. They also stole liquor bottles from the wine shops, but the accused consumed those.

 Sub Urban police inspector Ravichandra D. B. led a team that made these arrests based on a definite tip-off. One accused is from Hubballi and the other two are from Dharwad. The police said they were habitual offenders.

Dharwad Town police seized eight bikes by arresting three accused.

The police team led by Town Inspector Prabhu R Ganganhalli arrested three accused and seized eight motorbikes, which were stolen in various police station limits. The total value of the seized vehicles is Rs 2.80 lakh, said the police.

With the arrest of the accused, the police have solved eight theft cases reported at Dharwad Town, Savadatti, Modalagi, Ghataprabha, and Gokak Town police station limits.
