Students get ready to attend classes

The Karnataka government has decided to restart offline lessons for students in grades 9 and 10, as well as pre-university college students (Classes 11 and 12), beginning August 23.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai made the decision during a high-level committee meeting on Friday. “We’ve decided to reopen schools in phases. Subject to circumstances, the primary phase of (offline) lessons for college kids in grades 9, 10, and PU will begin on August 23. Students would be divided into two groups, with classes held on alternate days “Bommai stated this after meeting with specialists, ministers, and government officials in Bengaluru.
However, a decision on restarting elementary school courses has been postponed until the last week of August. “This is being done to watch things, with the prospect of a third wave affecting the state in mind,” Bommai stated.
