Students of Sana Shaheen college received their Covid jabs on Monday in Hubballi.
The college students awaited their turn with bated breath. The eager pupils made their first foray onto the college grounds.
A Covid immunisation drive has been organised by the college administration with the support of the district government. The injections were given to the employees, teachers, and students.
The Managing Trustee of the Sana Shaheen Group of Institutions, Ashraf Ali Bashir Ahmed, led and supervised the special immunisation campaign.
Speaking to www.hubliexpress.com executive trustee of the institute Ayub Savanur told that it was the second such drive organised by the college in association with the district administration with the help of the health and family welfare department. There were many students who did not able to receive their jab, hence one more round of special vaccination drive was organised, he said.
Students expressed their happiness and conveyed gratitude to the college administration for arranging a special vaccination drive for them. They said that taking vaccination would help them to attend the offline classes as the vaccine gives good protection against novel Coronavirus infection.
Principal of the institute Dr Sanjay Bhalerao, Administrator Anjum Khan and others were present.
