Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is scheduled to arrive at Hubballi airport around 12 p.m. today. The CM’s plan calls for him to arrive in the city at about 9.45 a.m. to attend the BJP’s state executive committee meeting, which will be held in the city. He was supposed to fly on a special flight from Bengaluru to HAL airport, however, the CM flight is claimed to have experienced a technical glitch, and his flight would take off at roughly 11 a.m.
According to sources, the CM is preoccupied with several programs, hence his departure has been delayed.
Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Pralhad Joshi, former Chief Minister Jagdish Shettar, BJP state in-charge Arun Singh, State BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel would take part in the two days meeting.
The city was decked up for the meeting and one can see BJP flags and flexes across the city welcoming the BJP leaders.
