Bengaluru: On Tuesday, Transport Minister B. Sriramulu’s tweet asking the people of Sindhanur to participate in a Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha programme founded by his friend Gali Janardhan Reddy caused a sensation.
The tweet from the Minister’s official handle (@sriramulubjp) was, however, removed within an hour. Meanwhile, Sriramulu’s followers claimed that the Transport Minister’s official Twitter account had been hacked and that the opinions represented in the message were not those of their leader. Sriramulu was unable to be reached for comment.
The tweet created a sensation in the political circle and it also raised curiosity among political pundits that whether Sriramulu join his friend just before the assembly election.
