Hubballi: In view of the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in the neighbouring state of Goa, the following special surveillance measures as notified by the Government of Karnataka should be strictly complied with for all arrivals from the State of Goa into Karnataka, for passengers arriving by trains:
A. SWR re-iterates the orders contained in the Government of Karnataka Circular dated 05.01.2022, that only passengers with a negative RT-PCR certificate not older than 72 hours prior to boarding, shall board the trains (from Goa), irrespective of vaccination status.
B. It is mandatory for students and the general public who travel from Goa to Karnataka on a regular basis for various reasons to undergo RT-PCR once every 15 days and have such a negative report.
