New Delhi: The Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 (Series II) is set to be open for subscription from September 11 to September 15, 2023, with a settlement date on September 20, 2023.
The issue price during this subscription period stands at Rs. 5,923 per gram, as specified in the Government of India Notification No. 4(6)-B(W&M)/2023 dated June 14, 2023. This pricing has also been confirmed by the Reserve Bank of India in their Press Release dated September 08, 2023.
Furthermore, the Government of India, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India, has decided to extend a discount of Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty only) per gram from the issue price to investors who choose to apply online and make their payment through digital modes.
For these digitally-savvy investors, the issue price of the Gold Bond will be reduced to Rs. 5,873 per gram of gold.
