New Delhi, By Hubli Express News Service: Sonia Gandhi, the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, has penned a letter to India’s Prime Minister and BJP leader, Narendra Modi, expressing her desire for a discussion on various matters during the forthcoming Special Parliamentary Session scheduled from September 18th to 22nd.

In her communication, Sonia Gandhi emphasizes the importance of addressing the present economic conditions in the country. Congress leader Supriya Shrinate has shared Sonia Gandhi‘s letter regarding the special five-day Parliament session commencing on September 18th. The letter’s content is outlined as follows:

“I must point out that this Special Session has been convened without any consultation with other political parties. None of us have any idea of its agenda. All we have been communicated is that all five days have been allocated for Government Business.

Last week, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi made an announcement regarding the scheduling of a Special Parliamentary Session set to take place from September 18th to 22nd. Subsequent notifications from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha confirmed the session’s dates while also indicating that during these five days, there will be no provision for the Question Hour and Zero Hour.

While the specific agenda items for this parliamentary session have not yet been officially delineated, there is widespread speculation that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may introduce a bill proposing the ‘One Nation One Election’ policy. Additionally, there are discussions surrounding a proposal to alter the country’s name from India to Bharat.

According to media reports, the Special Parliamentary Session is expected to be conducted in the newly inaugurated parliament building.
