A 35-year-old man died of a heart attack while attending a Garba event in Maharashtra. His dad, who had rushed him to the hospital, died of shock hours later.
The twin tragedy occurred in Virar, Maharashtra’s Palghar district. According to reports, Manish Narapji Sonigra collapsed on Saturday night while participating in Navratri festivities at the Global City complex in Virar. Narapji Sonigra died after learning of his son’s death.
The remains have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the police have filed an accidental death case. To recall, a similar incident occurred recently in Anand district of Gujarat, when a 21-year-old man died after falling while dancing to the beats of Garba. The man, Virendra Singh Rajput, died on the way to the hospital.
