Siddu refuses to comment on contesting the next election from Badami.

Badami: Siddaramaiah, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, once again refused to comment from which Assembly seat he would contest in the next Assembly election.

Siddaramaiah is tight-lipped about this, there are speculations that Siddaramaiah may not contest from Badami in the next election, few say he would once again run for the election from Badami. And many legislators have offered him to contest the election from their Assembly constituencies but Siddaramaiah so far said nothing on this matter.

Speaking to reporters in Badami, Siddaramaiah said, “The Congress party is ready for the elections, be it Taluka Panchayat elections or Assembly elections.” When reporters asked him about the pressure from Badami constituency residents to run for the Assembly seat from Badami again, he said it was too early to comment. The Assembly elections are still one and a half years away. “There are offers from five to six constituencies to contest the election. Let us wait,” he said.
