Chikkamagaluru: An escort vehicle of former chief minister Siddaramaiah met with an accident near Mallenahalli village in Chikkamagaluru district. Two escort staff were said to be injured in the accident and have been rushed to the District Hospital for treatment.
Siddaramaiah and KPCC President DK Shivakumar were on their way to Shivamogga from Chikkamagaluru after attending a party-related program when the accident happened. The driver of the Bolero vehicle lost control of the vehicle, and the vehicle veered off the road and entered a coffee estate. Chikkamagaluru Rural police have registered a case in this regard.
