Siddaramaiah, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, has stated that he will run for the Kolar constituency in the forthcoming state assembly elections, reported local media outlets. He did, however, stress that the final decision rests with the high command. “This is subject to the clearance of the high command,” the Congress leader remarked during a rally in Kolar. He now represents Badami in the Bagalkot district.
