Jagadish Shettar, former Chief Minister, has stated that he will make his final decision about his future plans by this evening.
He said Karnataka Election In Charge Dharmendra Pradhan, Basavaraj Bommai, and Pralhad Joshi have requested further discussions with him.
Shettar has indicated that he will base his decision on the outcome of the meeting with these leaders.
He has also sought an appointment with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri, and will submit his resignation accordingly.
Shettar mentioned that he wants to hear what the leaders have to offer or convey from the party high command. He clarified that he has not been approached by anyone from the Congress party yet, and has asked his supporters to wait until evening when he will announce his final decision.
