Hubballi: District-in-Charge Minister Jagdish Shettar has promised by the afternoon or evening the district will have revised relaxation of Covid restrictions which was announced for those 16 districts of the state having less than 5 per cent of the Covid positivity rate.
Shettar assured a delegation of businessmen who visited him, expressing concern about why the district was not considered for the revised restrictions of lockdown despite having a positive rate of less than 5%.
Shettar told the delegation that he was trying to connect with the CM in this regard and the CM is in the meeting, and also spoke to the Chief Secretary. ” I will chair a meeting with the district officials and have asked the DC to explain in detail the positivity rate to their higher officials when they ask them to. “We are making every effort to consider our district by relaxing Covid norms,”Shettar said.
