Hubballi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah had an informal meeting with state BJP leaders including former chief minister BS Yediyurappa, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines and, Coal Pralhad Joshi, state BJP president Nalinkumar Kateel and others at his room in the private hotel in the city.

Later speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, there will be an electrifying movement in Kittur Karnataka following the participation Union Home Minister Amit Shah today.

Talking to reporters here on Saturday, he said Shah will lay the foundation stone for the FSL, attend platinum jubilee celebrations of BVB College of Engineering, booth level Vijay Sankalp Yatra of Dharwad district, a mammoth public meeting in M.K.Hubli, and a meeting with the office-bearers above mandal.

The CM said Kittur Karnataka has been the strong fortress of BJP and Amit Shah is visiting across the state. He had played an important role in the 2018 Assembly polls. Shah had visited Mandya, now Kittur Karnataka and Hyderabad Karnataka the next month. The party organisation is a continuous process and there will be  inauguration of the State and central government schemes and laying foundation stone for various programs. The influence of the national leaders is bound to have on the state politics and the party is making use of it. 

No dissidence

Bommai ruled out any dissidence in the party and said nowhere such things have had. The progress of party is important for which everyone must strive. They have only one aim for Belagavi, Dharwad, Kittur Karnataka, Hyderabad-Karnataka and South Karnataka. To achieve this, the party is being organised.

Replying to a question, the CM said the BJP has become a nightmare for KPCC President D.K.Shivakumar because of this he will see the saffron party in the dream.

On his 63rd birthday celebrations, the CM said there is nothing special about it. People will come to wish him. However, the daily chorus will continue.
