The health condition of noted poet Chennaveera Kanavi, who is undergoing treatment for COVID-19 here at a private hospital, deteriorated mildly, the health bulletin released by the hospital on Tuesday evening said.
Chennaveer Kanavi, the hospital in the health bulletin, said that his oxygen requirement had increased. He is on NRBM with an 8-liter O2 per minute. His procalcitonin levels were high, hence his antibiotics have been escalated and other treatment as per protocol is being continued, said the bulletin.
Kanavi was admitted to the hospital last Friday following testing positive for the infection.
