Hubballi: Senior poet Chennaveer Kanavi’s health condition deteriorated further on Thursday and he was intubated and put on a mechanical ventilator, said a health bulletin released by the hospital. Kanavi is undergoing treatment for a COVID-19 infection at a private hospital here.
The morning health bulletin released by the hospital said that his urine output has reduced in view of which he may require dialysis if he does not respond to the treatment. Other treatment according to the protocol is being continued, said the bulletin.
