Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, visited the renowned Ghati Subramanya Swamy temple located in Doddaballapur taluk, near Bengaluru, with his family members on Saturday. The purpose of the visit was to offer special prayers seeking blessings from the revered shrine.
Accompanied by his wife and son Bharat, the CM performed the rituals at the temple. It is not yet clear whether the visit was based on the suggestion of his astrologers.
Speaking to reporters, CM said he often visits this temple, he wanted to visit the Ghati Subramanya temple for the last month but could not visit because of his hectic schedule. He said he offered a prayer for the welfare of the state and the people.

Devotees flock to the temple to perform various major rituals, including seeking a solution to Sarpa Dosha and Kuja Dosha in their horoscope.
According to popular belief, worshiping at the Ghati Subramanya temple can relieve one of Kala Sarpa Dosha in their horoscope and help them overcome obstacles in their field of work. The temple holds great significance among devotees, who consider it a sacred site for attaining success and seeking blessings.
