Hubballi: Kasabapet Inspector Adeppa Banni has been suspended from the service based on the report submitted by DCP (Law and Order) Sahil Bagla.
According to the sources, Banni failed to take action against the accused who allegedly killed Santosh Murgod; the accused was involved in a petrol theft case, and the inspector did not take any action against him then. And there is also an allegation against him that he also failed to take action against a few elements.
In a response to a query by the local media, Police Commissioner Labhu Ram confirmed the inspector was suspended, but based on the report submitted by the DCP, he was not all suddenly suspended.
