Sanction of final location survey for the quadrupling of Hosapete – Ballari line

Hubballi: The Ministry of Railways has sanctioned for conducting of two final Location Survey at the cost of Rs. 8.17 crore for the following rail line projects as detailed below: –

1. Hosapete – Ballari Quadrupling                65                           2,22,78,307/-
2. Swamihalli – Rayadurga New Line             52                          5,94,52,402/-

Total                                                         117                         8,17,30,709/-

The Ministry of Railways is committed to capacity enhancement to effectively meet the requirements of transportation/logistics of its customers. South Western Railway will undertake FLS and submit a report to Railway Board for further consideration in due course, said a release.
