RPF Director General Manoj Yadava Visits Hubballi, Inaugurates Barrack

Hubballi: By Hubli Express News Service: Manoj Yadava the newly appointed Director General of Railway Protection Force (RPF), made an official visit to Hubballi. He was accorded a Guard of Honour by an RPF platoon. Yadava inaugurated a new 12-bed RPF barrack in Gadag, constructed at a cost of Rs 71 lakh for accommodating RPF personnel.

As part of his visit, Director General Yadava presided over a ‘Suraksha Sammelan’ at Rail Soudha, attended by 120 RPF officers and staff from South Western Railway (SWR). During the event, he highlighted crucial topics such as stress management, health discipline, and encouraged the use of modern technology to address manpower shortages, enhance efficiency, and cultivate a positive image through exemplary work.

Accompanying the Director General were R.S.P. Singh, IG-cum-PCSC/RPF/SWR, along with Vijay Kumar Khatarkar, Chief Security Commissioner/RPF, and J.K. Sharma, Divisional Security Commissioner/RPF/Hubli Division.

Subsequently, Sanjeev Kishore, General Manager of SWR, along with senior officials, presented an overview of the railway zone’s performance, security measures, and various signal and telecommunications (S&T) projects.

Kishore commended SWR’s remarkable achievement of ascending from the 16th to the top position in Key Performance Indices (KPI) among all railway zones, applauding General Manager Sanjeev Kishore for his leadership and strategic initiatives that led to this accomplishment.
