In Kozhikode, another case of Nipah infection has been confirmed, bringing the total number of cases in the district to six.
State Health Minister Veena George’s office reported that a 39-year-old man tested positive for the Nipah virus while he was under observation at a hospital. Previously, he had sought treatment at a private hospital where other Nipah-positive individuals had received treatment for different health issues.
