Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s grit was hailed by the Congress party’s general secretary, KC Venugopal. He said Rahul Gandhi suffered severe knee pain just after three days, when the Yatra was in Kerala. But his strong determination to carry on the yatra defeated the pain.
PTI reported that the senior Congress leader suffered severe pain, and at one point, it was suggested to continue the yatra without him, and the matter was briefed to his sister Priyanka Gandhi as well.
He said that Gandhi called him to inform about the severity of the pain and that was the anxious moment, ” I prayed the god for divine intervention,” said Venu Gopal. Later, a physiotherapist joined his medical team, and the pain was cured, he said.
