Hubballi: Residents of Navanagar beat a man black and blue after he showed his private parts to a lady who was waiting for a bus to reach Gamangatti on Sunday night.
The police arrested the accused, a resident of Panchakshari Nagar, and he will be produced before the court, said APMC/Navanagar Police (Incharge) Inspector BA Jadhav.
He said the lady was waiting for a bus to reach Gamangatti on Sunday and the man, who looked like he was not in good mental health condition, allegedly showed his private parts and allegedly made obscene hand gestures. The locals, who came to know about his act, beat him, and he was handed over to the police.
The police have registered a case in this regard and the investigation is going on, said the inspector.
