Miscreants reportedly threw stones at the newly launched Vande Bharat Express train on Monday as it was passing through an area between Thirunavaya and Tirur in the northern district of Kerala.
Although the stones caused minor scratches on some of the train’s window panes, there were no injuries reported, and the train continued its journey to Thiruvananthapuram. Local railway officials alerted the police, who have launched an investigation to track down the perpetrators.
Unfortunately, this is not the first such incident involving the Vande Bharat Express, as similar attacks occurred in Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal earlier this year.
