Rani Chennamma Samiti Allowed to Install Ganesha at Idgah Maidan Again
Hubballi, EXPRESS News: The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has granted permission to the Rani Chennamma Maidan Gajanan Utsav Samiti to install a Lord Ganesha idol at Idgah Maidan in Hubballi. The installation is allowed for three days, from 6:00 AM on September 7th to 12:00 PM on September 9th, under certain conditions.
Last year, the same Samiti was also granted permission to install and worship the Lord Ganesha idol at this location. This year, the HDMC’s general body passed a resolution to extend the permission for the Samiti to hold the celebration for the next five years.
Sanjeev Badaskar, President of the Samiti, confirmed to Hubli EXPRESS News that they have received the official orders from the HDMC to proceed with the installation and worship of Lord Ganesha at the maidan.
