Bengaluru: Former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi will fly to New Delhi this evening (February 2) to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Ramesh Jarkiholi, who has been demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation team’s probe into the CD case, met Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai twice in the last two days. The CM, according to the sources, had decided to discuss this issue with the party senior leaders in Delhi; hence, Jarkiholi himself decided to meet Amit Shah, and he will be flying to the national capital this evening.
Ramesh Kumar was alleging that the CD case was the result of a conspiracy by KPCC President DK Shivakumar and that the case should be probed by the CBI. He would request the Union Home Minister hand over the case to the central investigation agency.
