Hubballi: Congress leader Rajat Ullagaddimath, who is a strong contender from the Congress party to contest the assembly election from Hubballi Central constituency, felicitated over a thousand Jogamma Tayis with utensil kits on Sunday.
Rajat, on the occasion of Makara Sankranti, kicked off the event in order to reach the public through his foundation. He said it is not just a reaching-out campaign; it is more than that. “I am getting their blessings. “I am fortunate that I felicitated them on this holy day,” said Rajat.
Rajat is planning to reach thousands of Jogammas who worship Goddess Yallamma and Huligemma and honour them. On Sunday alone, Rajat visited Veera Maruti Nagar, Giranichawl, Unkal, and Santosh Nagar and did the honours.
