Dharwad, May 16: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light to moderate rainfall across Dharwad, Haveri, and Belagavi districts over the next five days, offering relief from the summer heat and promising favorable conditions for agricultural activities.
Dharwad District Weather Update
According to the IMD’s Bangalore center, Dharwad will experience partly cloudy skies with intermittent showers throughout the week. The district received 127.6 mm of rainfall in the past three days. Daytime temperatures are expected to range between 31°C and 32°C, while nighttime temperatures will stay around 21°C. Morning humidity levels are forecasted to be between 73% and 80%, with evening humidity ranging from 61% to 63%. Wind speeds will remain moderate at 8 to 14 km/h.
Haveri District Weather Update
In Haveri district, the sky is likely to remain generally cloudy with sporadic light to moderate rainfall anticipated over the next five days. The IMD reports that maximum temperatures will range from 27°C to 36°C, and the minimum temperature will be around 23°C. The district recorded 10.6 mm of rainfall in the past three days. Morning humidity levels will vary from 77% to 82%, while evening humidity is expected to be between 41% and 46%. Average wind speeds will be 8 to 12 km/h.
Belagavi District Weather Update
Belagavi district is also expected to witness light to moderate rainfall with partly cloudy skies during the forecast period. Temperatures will range from 32°C to 33°C during the day and dip to around 21°C to 22°C at night. The region recorded 23.4 mm of rainfall in the last three days. Morning humidity is forecasted between 77% and 79%, and evening levels between 62% and 65%. Winds are expected to blow at 8 to 14 km/h.
