Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has positively responded to the Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi’s request to start a Vande Bharat Express between Dharwad and Bengaluru.
According to a press release issued by Joshi’s office, Joshi has said that the Railway Minister gave this assurance of launching the Vande Bharat Express and Rajdhani Express between Hubballi and New Delhi during his meeting with him in New Delhi on Monday.
Joshi has said that he had discussions with the Railway Minister on various railway projects related to the State.
Dharwad houses prestigious institutes such as IIT, IIIT, and educational institutions, launching the service of Vande Bharat Express between Dharwad and Bengaluru will reduce the travel time to a great extent and the train service would cause the further growth of the twin cities, he said.
