Bengaluru: Former AICC Chief, Rahul Gandhi, took a ride on a BMTC bus in Bengaluru and interacted with women passengers to understand their vision for Karnataka on Monday.
The women spoke candidly about the increasing prices of essentials, the Gruhalakshmi scheme, and the Congress’ guarantee of free travel for women in BMTC and KSRTC buses. Gandhi, who was in Bengaluru on May 7th, and this morning he had tea and posed for selfies with people. With today being the last day for open canvassing for the assembly election, Gandhi’s efforts to connect with voters have been applauded by many.
