Hubballi: Hundreds of Congress supporters and senior Congress leaders have been waiting at the Hubballi airport to welcome former AICC chief Rahul Gandhi for the last one and a half hours. The flight of Rahul Gandhi is likely to land at the airport around 8.15 pm, causing a delay in the much-anticipated party’s political affairs meeting.
The reason for his delayed arrival is not yet known. Rahul is unlikely to take part in other engagements if the flights get delayed further, said sources in the Congress party.
An atmosphere of a festival is created in front of the airport; party workers, Gandhi’s fans and followers are eagerly waiting to welcome him.
