Rahul Dravid not yet signed the contract papers: Report
MUMBAI- Contrary to the BCCI’s recent media statement announcing the extension of Rahul Dravid’s tenure as the head coach, a PTI tweet on X claims that Dravid has not yet signed any contract extension.
The former India captain’s initial contract concluded after the ODI World Cup 2023, where the Indian cricket team finished as runners-up. Dravid clarified that while discussions on the tenure have taken place, he is yet to receive the contract papers, expressing his intention to sign once they are provided. The news comes amidst a review meeting in the capital, attended by key figures such as BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, chief selector Ajit Agarkar, and captain Rohit Sharma.
