Hubballi: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann‘s roadshow in Ron, Hubballi on Tuesday turned out to be a major crowd-puller, with an overwhelming response from the public.
The Aam Aadmi Party candidate Anekal Doddayya received a boost from the CM’s campaign as he toured the streets of Ron town in a car, with a large number of people thronging to catch a glimpse of him. The party cadre was joyous and thanked the public for the respect and love showered on the Punjab CM during his visit.
During his visit to Hubballi, the Punjab CM paid his respects at the Gurudwara in Deshpande Nagar, visited the Fateshawali Dargah, and also visited the Siddharoodha Swamiji Math. He conducted a whirlwind roadshow in the Hubballi-Dharwad (East) constituency, as well as in parts of the Hubballi Central constituency, where he received a similar response from the public.
The Punjab CM is scheduled to campaign for party candidates in Belagavi and Bagalkot on April 19. Bhagwant Mann appealed to the public to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party in the upcoming elections for better governance and development, citing the achievements of Delhi and Punjab, where the party is currently running the government.
Party candidate from Hubballi Central constituency Vikas Soppin said that Mann’s tour in the city give a boost to the party and new vigor to fight the election. He expressed confidence that the voters would vote for change by electing AAP candidates in the twin cities and in the state.
