The Bengaluru police have registered a case and started an investigation after Pakistan’s flag was displayed on a social networking site, “Clubhouse.”

According to a police complaint registered with the Sampigehalli police station, a group was created on Club House, an audio app, on August 15, which carried the Pakistan flag. It also said that the enemy country’s national anthem was played and allegedly shouted anti-national slogans, according to the complaint.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner Prathap Reddy told the media that the accounts were operating under aliases and that they had enlisted the assistance of Internet service providers to track down the accused’s IP address. The case was registered under Section 153A of the IPC on August 17, according to the media sources.
