Vijayapura: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a public rally in Vijayapura district.
She questioned why the “omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient” PM failed to see the “loot” in Karnataka carried out by the “40% commission government of the BJP”.
Vadra also criticized Modi for dreaming of developing Karnataka and presenting it as a “development model” while ignoring the corruption within his own government. She accused the BJP of looting ₹1.5 lakh crore in 3.5 years, which could have been used to build hospitals, schools, and roads, generate employment, and provide relief to women from price rise.
Vadra also alleged that many companies had moved out of Karnataka due to the corruption impacting infrastructure. She promised that if the Congress government came to power, it would fill up 2.5 lakh vacant posts within a year.
