Hubballi: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at the airport, the central part of the Hubballi witnessed a flash protest by the Congress party workers.
Congress party leaders and HDMC members staged a protest condemning the misrule of the BJP and for not developing the twin cities to the expected level. They staged a protest on Lamington Road near Sangolli Rayanna Circle and in front of the Tahsildar office, holding placards, and empty pots.
They also raised slogans against BJP and Modi for failing to deliver the promises they made.
Congress leader Prakash Burbure, Mohan Hiremani, Imran Yaligar and others were present. The police cleared the protesters quickly and allowed traffic to move swiftly.
