Bengaluru: As the state assembly elections are approaching faster, political activities in all the parties are gearing up. The state BJP, which is banking heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s charisma, is planning to bring Prime Minister Modi to the state as much as possible.
According to the reports, Modi may visit the state three times next month. As per the information available, PM Modi may inaugurate the Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway, and the party leaders are planning to convene a rally in Mandya on May 10. PM Modi may also attend the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatre’s Maha Sangam, the party’s open convention, in Davangere in March. Four Vijaya Sankalpa Yatre, which originated in different parts of the state, will meet in Davangere, with Modi expected to attend.
Aside from that, the PM is expected to participate in a Navy program in Mangaluru.The PM will be in the state today to attend the Aero India Show in Yalhanka, Bengaluru, and will return on February 27 to open the Shivamogga Airport in honor of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa’s birthday.
