New Delhi: Veteran actor Prakash Rai found himself in the midst of social media criticism after sharing a cartoon on Chandrayaan-3 on his social media account on Sunday.

The cartoon depicted a man pouring tea and was accompanied by the caption, “BREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander Wowww #justasking.”

In response to the backlash, Prakash Raj addressed the matter surrounding his social media post concerning India’s Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. He posted a message on Twitter, stating, “Hate sees only hate,” and clarified that he was alluding to an old joke.

He returned to Twitter to elaborate further, writing, “Hate sees only Hate.. i was referring to a joke of #Armstrong times .. celebrating our kerala Chaiwala .. which Chaiwala did the TROLLS  see ??  .. if you dont get a joke then the joke is on you  .. GROW UP  #justasking”
