Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the inaugural run of Mumbai – Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai – Solapur Vande Bharat Express from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on Friday (Feb 10). The commencement of regular service of the two Vande Bharat Express trains are as under:
- Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express
The 22223 Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 06.20 hrs daily (except Tuesday) beginning 12.2.2023 and arrive in Sainagar Shirdi at 11.40 hrs the same day.
Sainagar Shirdi-Mumbai Train No. 22224 Vande Bharat Express will leave Sainagar Shirdi, daily (except Tuesday) at 17.25 hrs from 11.2.2023 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 22.50 hrs same day. Halts: Dadar, Thane, and Nashik Road.
- Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express
Train No. 22225, Mumbai-Solipur Vande Bharat Express, will depart from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 16.05 hrs daily (except Wednesday) beginning 11.2.2023 and arrive in Solapur at 22.40 hrs the same day.
Train No. 22226 Solapur – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will leave Solapur daily (except Thursday) at 06.05 hrs from 11.2.2023 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 12.35 hrs same day. Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Pune and Kurduwadi.
Composition of both trains: Two AC Executive class and 14 AC Chair Cars
Reservation: Bookings for Train No. 22223/22224 and Train No. 22225/22226 will open on 10.2.2023 at all PRS counters and on the website www.irctc.co.in
“For timings of these two Vande Bharat Trains at their respective halts, please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or download the NTES app,” South Western Railway stated in a press release.
For north Karnataka people, who opt for trains to commute between their cities and Mumbai and used to travel via Gadag, may adjust their timings to catch the Vande Bharat Express at Solapur station and can reach Mumbai. They may save travel time if they find the right connecting train.
