Hubballi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed happiness through a tweet for the qualitative changes the villagers are experiencing due to the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi retweeted Union Parliamentary Affairs, Mines and Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi’s opinion on his Twitter account, citing the success of the Jal Jeevan Mission Yojana Abhiyan in Dharwad District and the qualitative change seen in the lives of the villagers of Neerasagar.

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr Suresh Itnal, who informed about the Jal Jeevan Mission project, said that out of 388 inhabited areas in the district, the Jal Jeevan Mission project works have been completed in 284 inhabited areas, while the works in the remaining 104 inhabited areas are in progress. A total of Rs 363 crore has been released, and Rs 259 crore has been spent so far. He said that till now, 1,15,582 drinking water tap connections have been provided under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
