Playing cricket turned costly : 46 booked for playing cricket violating norms

Hubballi: The Hubballi-Dharwad police have booked cases against 46 people who were gathered to play cricket violating lockdown norms in the twin cities.

Deputy Commissioner of Police ( Law and Order) K Ramarajan told in a special drive they booked the people who were playing cricket on grounds, streets in various police station limits. He said that they would continue the drive. He requested the public not to violate lockdown norms by gathering in large numbers or roaming unnecessarily on roads during the lockdown period.

DCP said the cases were registered by the Town Police, Kasabapet, Old Hubballi Police. Keshwapur and Dharwad Sub Urban Police.
