“Paws and Punishment: How a Dog Turned Tire-Slashing Sleuth in Italian Village

In a plot worthy of a detective story, a small Italian village, named Vastogirardi in Molise region faced a mystery involving slashed car tires. The culprit, initially suspected to be a person with possible vendettas or mafia ties, turned out to be an unexpected character – a dog named Billy.

The worried villagers reported the incident to the local police, they enhanced the patrol and roamed the streets of the village in civil dress to nab the accused, but the incident continued to grow, finally, the police installed CCTV cameras and found that it was not a man or mafia, but a canine which was chewing on the tires.

The canine, living nearby, was caught on surveillance cameras biting into car tires. The village, relieved to solve the mystery, discovered that Billy’s unusual behavior was due to severe gingivitis, causing him to chew on tires for relief.

While a peculiar case, the village is now content that the mischievous tire-slashing culprit was indeed a furry friend rather than a human adversary.
