Hubballi: The Old Hubballi area reported one more stabbing incident on Thursday evening. Brothers have stabbed a person, allegedly for having an illicit affair with their sister.
The incident happened in Dharwad Colony in the Old Hubballi police station limits. The injured person has been identified as Chandrashekhar.
DCP Sahil Bagla said according to initial information, Chandrashekhar had an illicit relationship with the accused sisters. They were warning their sister not to meet Chandrashekhar, and she was not listening. On Thursday, she went to meet Chandrashekhar once again. The brothers stabbed Chandrashekhar.
The brothers were upset with their sister’s extra-martial affair. The woman was living with her parents and brothers.
DCP Bagla said the accused have been secured, and an investigation is going on.
