A few incidences of cattle theft have been reported in the Dharwad district in the recent few months, the majority of them in the district’s rural areas. The cops were on the trail of the suspects, but it was the Old Hubballi who came out on top.

They apprehended the three suspects, and their detention resulted in the resolution of a cattle theft case reported in the Timmasagar area.

According to sources, Sahib Khan Badagi and Zuber, both of Kavaspur village in Shikaripur taluk in Shivamogga district, and Saddam Imamsab, a resident of Harihar, were arrested.

The team allegedly stole cattle from the Navalgund, Garag, Hubballi, and Dharwad rural police stations. They used to sell cattle at Ranebennur, according to sources.
