The Hubballi-Dharwad police have successfully resolved the flag case, where two individuals attempted to disrupt communal harmony by attaching flags representing different faiths to a mobile tower. Local residents had mistaken one of the flags, belonging to a specific community, for a flag associated with an adversary nation.
Upon receiving the initial report, the police promptly responded by visiting the area and promptly removing the flags. Subsequently, following a formal complaint, a dedicated police team initiated an intensive search operation to apprehend the accused responsible for sowing confusion and attempting to disturb communal harmony.
Within 24 hours, the police successfully nabbed two accused belonging two faiths, both residents of Hubballi. Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar confirmed the arrest of the two suspects, characterizing their actions as potentially mischievous. However, the police are continuing their investigation to delve deeper into the case and uncover any underlying motives.
