Hubballli: The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has recently launched an AC sleeper bus service between Dharwad and Kurnool.
The corporation has fulfilled the long pending demand of the passengers. The passengers had no direct night premium service between these two cities. Passengers visiting famous religious sites such as Mantralayam and Srisailam will find this service extremely useful now that it has been launched.
The NWKRTC officials said that the people going to Srisailam used to change buses at Ballari, and if they didn’t find any direct bus service, they used to change buses again in Adhoni. With this service, they could alight at Kurnool to reach Srisailam or at Adhoni to reach Mantralayam.
The AC sleeper coach bus leaves Dharwad at 10 pm, and reaches Hubballi at 11 pm. The bus reaches Adhoni at 6 am and Kurnool at 7.45 am. In the return direction, the bus leaves Kurnool at 8 pm, reaches Adhoni at 9.45 pm, Hubballi at 4.50 am, and Dharwad at 5.45 am, said NWKRTC officials.
The NWKRTC has resumed bus service to Maharashtra.
Following a drop in COVID cases and ease in the COVID restrictions, the NWKRTC has restored all its bus services to neighbouring Maharashtra state.
The NWKRTC has restarted its express and premium bus services to Mumbai, Pune, Shirdi, Nashik, Kolhapur, Ichalkaranhi, Sangli, Miraj, Solapur, and other destinations. Passengers can book their tickets via the KSRTC mobile app or by visiting its website, www.ksrtc.in.
