Hubballi: The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has introduced a WhatsApp number for the benefit of the residents of the twin cities registering complaints related to basic amenities in their area.

The WhatsApp number 8277803778 was established with the objective of allowing locals to conveniently file their complaints about garbage collection, drinking water supply, broken roads, street lights, underground drainage work, and so on. An acknowledgment will be sent to the sender after the complaint is registered.

Following that, the complaint will be forwarded to the right officials for action. Once the issue is resolved, the complainant will be notified of the action taken in response to his or her complaint. Residents can click the photographs or capture video of the problem, and can add a brief description of the problem along with name and area, said officials and added that the number will be available for the service round the clock.

The residents can also register their complaints by dialing 0836-2213888, 0836-2213889, and 0836-2213869. 0836-2213886.
