Kerala’s Health Minister, Veena George, has confirmed that there have been no recent positive cases of Nipah virus reported in Kozhikode. A total of 42 samples have been tested, and all have shown negative results.
The government has reassured the public that the outbreak in the state is currently under control, and individuals who were previously infected are steadily recovering. Officials have also indicated that the restrictions between Mallappuram and Kozhikode districts will soon be eased.
