Hubballi: The police yet to solve the Instagram reels case, in which miscreants shared innocent photos of four college girls and combined them with inappropriate pictures and then posted these edited images on Instagram. The morphed photos have gone viral.
According to the DCP (Law and Order) Rajeev, they are gathering technical details of the case and they have some leads in this case and they are seeking more information from Instagram and Meta. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the IT Act against the miscreants by the police. The miscreants made fake accounts and edited the girls’ faces onto offensive pictures before sharing them on social media. The girls go to a private college in the city. The police have some leads in the case and are hopeful about solving it soon, said the Police Commissioner.
